Solemn session honors agricultural auditors and veterinarians at the Federal University of Bahia

Last Saturday (02/11), the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) hosted a solemn session in honor of the veterinarians who graduated in the classes of 1974. The event, held at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, located in Ondina/BA, was attended by a significant audience, composed of family members, guests and professionals in the area.

The head table was composed of important authorities, including the presidents of the Federal and Regional Council of Veterinary Medicine, the director of the School of Veterinary Medicine of UFBA, the Secretary of Agriculture of Bahia, the president of SENAR/FIEB and the general director of the Agricultural Defense Agency of Bahia (ADAB), in addition to representatives of other entities in the sector.

During the ceremony, several professionals in the veterinary field who stood out in different fields were honored, such as federal agricultural tax auditors, university professors, farmers and members of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa).

The event also marked the unveiling of a plaque commemorating the first class to receive such an honor, whose name has now been immortalized in the history of the UFBA School of Veterinary Medicine. The plaque, installed at the site, will be a landmark for future generations of veterinarians trained by the institution.
